The mortadella and pistachio mousse is a quick and easy appetizer that really takes 5 minutes to prepare. Mortadella, I must admit, is not one of my favorite ingredients but the idea of preparing it in the form of a mousse was tempting me so I decided to try it. You can use it to fill puff pastry cannoli, voul au vent, or simply spread on toasted bread as I did. How to make mortadella mousse
Cut the slice of mortadella into cubes
Put the mortadella in the mixer with the cream and start blending
Then add the cheese, chopped pistachios, salt and pepper.
Blend until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Once ready, put it in a bowl
Serve the mortadella mousse on toasted bread
