The butter carrots they are a quick and easy side dish to make, which is usually enjoyed by young and old. If you like, this recipe is a simplified version of the milk carrots I published some time ago. Now we are going to meet the warm season, and carrots are starting to appear more often on my table, in view of the summer period, as they help me a lot with the tan. How to make buttered carrots
Peel the carrots, wash them and cut them into thin slices.
Melt the butter in a non-stick pan, then add the carrots and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring often.
Add salt, cover with a lid, and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes or until the carrots are ready (test the consistency with a fork).
If you think they are drying too much, add a drop of water.
Towards the end of cooking, add the chopped parsley.
Your carrots in butter are ready, you can serve them hot, lukewarm or even cold if you prefer.
