Recipe for raisin biscuits of 20-09-2013 [Updated on 13-07-2016]
With raisin biscuits I officially reopen the rite of biscuits on Saturday afternoon, starting this year with a special helper who is quivering with the desire to put the "hands in the dough". The only scent of the biscuits being cooked that pervades the whole house makes me happy, they are our weekend cuddle, the moment when I, Ivano and Elisa get on the sofa under the covers watching a movie (cartoons from this year) to nibble and who cares about the crumbs :) If you want and time, prepare these raisin cookies and let me know what you think. How to make raisin cookies
Put the raisins in a bowl with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and two tablespoons of water.
In a bowl, arrange the flour, baking powder, sugar, softened butter, grated lemon peel, and egg.
Knead until it forms a homogeneous mixture.
Now squeeze the raisins and add them to the mixture.
With slightly moistened hands, form balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the raisin biscuits in a preheated oven at 180 ° and bake for 10/15 minutes or until they are golden.
Allow to cool, then serve your raisin biscuits.
