Recipe Sauteed Pork Mushrooms and Ginger's on 07-08-2008 [Updated on 27-08-2018]
Finally I broke the delay and this weekend to celebrate our first month of marriage I cooked for the first time at home in my new kitchen. At first I was a bit hesitant, for fear of dirtying my beautiful brand new kitchen, but then I took courage and started cooking!
Obviously the first recipe of our life in 2 could only be a Thai recipe, and among the many Thai recipes I chose to start with sautéed pork with mushrooms and ginger.
This is the first dish I tasted during my honeymoon that's why I started from here.
How to make pork sautéed with mushrooms and ginger
Cut the pork into chunks and pass them in the flour. In a wok, heat the oil and brown a clove of garlic. Lift the garlic clove and add the pork chops.
Sauté the pork chops for a couple of minutes, then add the mushrooms.
Add the grated ginger and sauté the pork with the mushrooms for another couple of minutes.
Lower the heat and add the soy sauce, fish sauce and 3 tablespoons of boiling water.
Cook the pork mushrooms and ginger in the wok for another 1 minute, or until the sauce has shrunk.
Then sprinkle with a pinch of pepper and decorate with spring onion and julienned fresh chilli and serve on plates.
I didn't put onion and chilli pepper because at home I am not yet 100% operational, but I post the photo of the pork sautéed with mushrooms and ginger as they served it to me in Bangkok just to give an idea;)
