Dessert tart with sweet vanilla cheese

Prepare the top: sift the flour in a bowl, mix it with the baking powder, with the cold butter pieces (left a little at room temperature, (for beginners I recommend scraping on a large grater). Add the egg, sour cream, vanilla, salt powder and knead a dough so as to homogenize the ingredients, sprinkle with a tablespoon of flour and let it cool for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, the filling is being prepared; mix the sweet cheese with the sugar and vanilla, then with the sour cream and beaten eggs, the sugar, the orange juice and the peel, add the semolina and the starch and mix the composition well.

Remove the top from the cold, divide it into two pieces and spread the first sheet, place it in the shape of a tart, then put the cream cheese on top and place the tart sheet again. Here at this moment you can decorate it (see the image).

Keep the tart in the oven at 180 degrees C until golden brown.

I made an attempt to buy an oven and because it was too strong and probably poorly adjusted, I was about to burn the tart, already in 20 minutes it was ready, abnormal thing, a tart should be somewhere around 30 - 35 minutes, if not 40. Well, I gave it back and went back to my old oven, which I love and which I don't seem ready to part with yet.

After the tart has cooled, powder it with vanilla powdered sugar.

Banana tart and whipped cream or banana cream pie is an American dessert much loved by them and present in all classic American confectioneries and restaurants. It really doesn't need to be too sweet.

The tart crust with bananas and whipped cream is easy to make and very tasty. I opted for the classic tart crust recipe, the one with butter and cold water. Honestly, it comes out great with cream cheese, it is tender, tasty and does not break easily. You can also use it for savory dishes, as it is chicken tart, so it's good for anything. You can even make more crusts, bake them, freeze them and just use them when needed. It is such a good recipe that you will use it in many dishes. The cream is also a simple one, a boiled cream, with vanilla aroma, not very dense, but enough to harden in the fridge. It keeps its shape very well, but remains fine and creamy even after cooling.

Monday sweets: Pie with sweet cheese and marshmallows, with strawberry sauce

Holidays are coming by train from France! We have more time for ourselves, but especially for our children. Today I propose a recipe that will make the little ones very happy.

It is a simple dessert to prepare, light, refreshing and, above all, spectacular, so that the children for whom you prepare it will be delighted not only by the taste, but also by the way it looks.

For this dessert you need four tart forms and some simple ingredients.

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PORTIONS
4 pie sheets
500g of cottage cheese
500g strawberries
100g blueberries
7-8 pieces of small marshmallows
1/2 pack of greasy butter
1/4 teaspoon lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon orange peel
1.5 tablespoons powdered sugar

Preparation:

Step 1: First I make the filling, then the strawberry sauce. I take cow's cheese (be careful, it doesn't have to be fat, a maximum of 3-4% fat is enough when we prepare recipes for children). I put it in a bowl and mix it with grated lemon and orange peel, a tablespoon and a half of powdered sugar and a cinnamon powder. Also in the composition I add 5-6 pieces of finely chopped marshmallows. Then I mix everything very well. Set them aside.

Step 2: Melt the butter in a saucepan. I'm making four sheets of pie. When the butter cools, I brush the first sheet with a little butter, put another sheet on it, add butter, then another sheet - three sheets of pie, in total. Cut the sheets in four.

Step 3: I take the cheese composition and divide it into four parts. In four tart forms, I put a quarter of the pie sheets, I brush with butter, I add the quarter of the composition with cheese and I tighten the walls of the sheets made of sheets. I put the four tart shapes in the preheated oven at 160 ° C, until they turn a golden color at the corners. I take the tarts from the oven, take them out of the molds and move them to a tray with waxed paper given with butter. I put them in the oven for a few more minutes, then let them breathe a little.

Step 4: From 500g of fresh strawberries, crushed in a blender or with a mixer, I get a sauce like a soup, which I can also match with sugar (powdered sugar, it melts faster).

Step 5: PRESENTATION ON THE PLATE: Each portion of dessert is placed separately, on a slightly deep plate. I put a few tablespoons of the strawberry sauce in the middle, which forms a glossy base like a mirror. I take a portion of the pie out of the tray, using a spatula, and place it in the middle. Then cut a few strawberries and a few blueberries in half and arrange them nicely around the tart. Decorate with a few pieces of marshmallows placed over the pie.

Step 6: A LITTLE TIP Strawberry sauce can be served with ice cream, pancakes, donuts, waffles. The sauce can be prepared only from fresh fruit given through a sugar blender or it can be later boiled and cooled well. My advice is to strain it through gauze so that it has a finer consistency.

Strawberry tart

Necessary ingredients 6 servings

For the dough
175 gr flour
50 gr butter
50 gr margarine for cooking
2 teaspoons fine-grained sugar
an egg yolk

For the filling

a medium egg + still
a yolk
50 gr sugar with fine granulation
25 gr flour
300 ml milk
a few drops of vanilla essence
450 gr fresh strawberries, cut into slices
mint leaves, for decoration


Recipe / dessert / sweets preparation method

1 Turn on the oven 20 minutes before baking the tart.
Put the flour, butter and margarine in the bowl of the food processor and mix them until you get a thin dough. Add the sugar, then the yolk and enough water to make a dough that is not too soft. Knead the dough for a few minutes, cover it and let it cool in the fridge for half an hour.


2 spread the dough in a sheet, place the sheet in a tart shape with a diameter of about 23 cm and bake the dough for 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven. Let it cool.


3 To prepare the filling, rub the sugar with the whole egg and the egg yolk until they become a pale yellow foam. Gradually add the flour, then the milk. Put the composition in a saucepan and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.


4 Add the vanilla essence, cover the cream and let it cool.


5 When the cream has cooled completely, mix it again (preferably with a mixer or a whisk) until it is homogenous, then pour it into a tart shape. Put it in the fridge while you cut the strawberries, place the strawberry slices on top of the tart, garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve.
